Website optimisation is an essential element of businesses as it is the foundation upon which a website’s success is built as well as being core to the success of digital marketing efforts. Search Engine Optimisation will help you position your website in the correct way to be found for a keyword or search term but more importantly, if done correctly, can increase your conversion rate extensively. The main considerations of a web optimisation project are: What are real people looking for? How can you build a website that pleases search engines while providing a unique and user-friendly experience for your customers? More importantly, how can your search engine presence help you become more profitable?
Todaysure Matthews is a subdivision of Matthews Environmental Solutions US, a multi-billion dollar company. They currently operate globally and have installed operations on 5 continents. As a world leader in cremation and incineration equipment, they are uniquely positioned to ensure market capitalisation in key areas such as the European Union, United States of America, Middle East & Australia.
The main aim of the web optimisation project was to compete with the competition. After recent successes, Todaysure Matthews saw a rise in marketing standards in the marketplace with rival companies investing heavily in digital projects trying to catch up. The goal was to establish market dominance and achieve a rank share befitting a world-leading operation.
Firstly, we looked at the business model and the goals that Todaysure Matthews were working towards. We then broke this down into key actionable activities and multinational geographic regions which allowed us to expand on the unique value proposition, the goodwill value of the company name and the industry leading knowledge.
Initially content was limited across the site. AsOne put a content creation strategy into place which was developed in conjunction with the client. This expansion of the product and service pages allowed for further search engine optimisation and reach analysis.
Other considerations regularly impact the optimisation work such as mobile responsiveness, changing the usage of search engines and changing consumer habits to keep ahead of the competition.

* A reduction in bounce rate is positive. It means that more visitors arriving on the site are finding what they need and are staying longer.
