Outlook 2002

Step 1: Open Outlook 2002, from the Tools menu select Email Accounts.

Step 2: In the Email Accounts window, click next to Add a new e-mail account. Click Next to continue.

Step 3: In the Server Type window, Select POP3 and click on Next.

Step 4: In the Internet Email Settings (POP3) window, you set most of the information required to check your mail.

In the User Information section, use the following:
Your Name: the name that you want to appear on your eMail.
Email Address: the Email Alias or Email/Reply-To Address from your Account Information.

In the Server Information section:
Incoming mail server (POP3): mail.yourdomain.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.com

In the Logon Information section, use the following:
User Name: your full eMail address
Password: password we supplied you with

Click Next to continue.

 

Step 5: Then, click Finish.

Step 6: Then you need to make sure the My outgoing server requires authentication checkbox is ticked in the More Settings box.

Also, on the 'Advanced' tab, please ensure that 'Leave a copy of messages on the server' is Unticked. Leaving this ticked will mean that your downloaded E-mails are left on our server, which will use up your E-Mail space quota.

 

Process complete! You can now use your email.
