Secure Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference Communication & Collaboration

MARAC Connect is an approved communication and collaboration system used by MARAC coordinators and conference members to streamline the MARAC process and enable fast reliable information sharing in a secure way.
Our system is not incident based which can be misleading but is pattern review based allowing for a clearer picture of a cases history and involvement in other cases.

Data & Security
Detailed Record keeping with automatic cross-referencing by name, postcode and date of birth. Your data is stored on Government Connect compliant servers and it records data clearly and is detail for future evidence, reviews and reporting. Hosting your information on Government Connect complaint servers is a must for all councils holding data digitally in order to stay in line with recent legislation.

Adaptable
Local variations of the forms and reporting can be implemented as well as changes to tools that conform to other standards.
Our risk assent tool is based on an improved version of the CAADA-DASH (RIC) system and our reporting and data collection is EIA Compliant, NI32 Compliant and Safeguarding Standards compliant.

LICENSING

Server Licence
Every installation requires a server licence. This licence allows the administration system to be installed on a server of your choice on your secure network. A further public facing site will also be included that will allow visitors to submit reports and gain access to useful information and news.

Master Administrator Licence
To operate, manage and moderate the system Master Administrators are assigned the task of running the day-to-day operation. It is these Master Administrators who will train and support the system users.

User Licence
User licensing controls how many users can log into the system at any one time. If you reach your maximum number of logged in users any extra users trying to login will be given a “service busy” notice and will be asked to try again later. To avoid risk of users being prevented from logging in it is recommended that enough user licences are purchased to cover at least 80% of the agency users who have been assigned usernames and passwords.

Initial Setup
The initial setup is a one off fee that includes:

Licensing
In order to operate this system effectively we recommend a minimum of 3 members of your team are given full access to the system in order to perform administration tasks, manage users and moderate content. The Annual Master Licence Fee includes:

1 x Secure Server Licence
1 x Public Server Licence
3 x Master Administrator Licences (graduates only)
2 day Master Training Course (for designated Master Administrators)
Qualification Certificates (for graduates)
PDF Master manual & User manual
10 x User Licences

Additional Master Administrator Licences can be purchased at any time when required. New users are required to attend a 2-day Master Training Course. The Additional Master Licence Fee includes:

3 x Master Administrator Licences (graduates only)
2 day Master Training Course (for designated Master Administrators)
Qualification Certificates (graduates only)

In order for conference members to access the system and share information they must login to the system. The Master Administrators can create unlimited users, however, only the licensed number of users can logon to the system at any one time. The Annual Master Licence Fee includes 20 complimentary licences, i.e. 10 users can access the system at any one time. Extra User Licences are available to purchase in bundles of 50 users.

Support & Upgrade Protection
MARAC Connect is constantly developed and upgraded in line with legislation, consultation and user requests. Our support and upgrade protection package entitles the licensee to receive expert support by phone or email during office hours. The upgrade protection ensures that you receive all the upgrades, patches and developments throughout the year.
Although we recommend the support and upgrade protection, a licensed system will continue to function without upgrades.
